Case teams

During your case, you might want to share your timeline or documents with a legal advisor or even a supportive friend or family member. 

Valla lets you do this quickly and easily, saving you time and giving you better control over your documents. 

What can someone do once they have access to your case?

Once someone has access to your case, their level of access depends on the type of team member they are.

There are 2 types of team members in Valla: administrators and members. 

Administrators

Administrators are the people that have full access to the case. They are the only people who can add new team members. If you need to add more than one administrator, please do get in touch and we will do this for you.

You need to be an administrator to:

• delete a document / evidence 
• create or delete an event 
• delete a case team
• send, resend or cancel invitations to a case team.

Members

Members are people who have limited access to the case. They cannot:

• add or remove team members
• delete a document / evidence 
• create or delete an event 
• delete a case team
• send, resend or cancel invitations to a case team.

However, they can do everything else that an administrator can do. For example, they can create, view and edit documents/evidence, and edit events.
